The Technical Services Department is responsible for securing acquisitions,
handling cataloging and managing automation projects. The objective
for this department is to provide and process the materials for research
use and to maintain control of collections. The technical processes
of cataloging and classifying materials and physically preparing books
and other items for the shelves are also handled in this department.
